A new ship, more Inside Passage Alaska sailings and new routes for the intimate Tahitian Princess are only part of what’s on tap for Princess Cruises in 2008. For the full complement of what the cruise line will offer next year, check with us, because what follows is only a taste of what’s on tap.
Beginning in November 2008, Princess Cruises’ newest “gem” will launch with a series of seven-day Western Caribbean sailings from Fort Lauderdale. Like her sisters Emerald Princess and Crown Princess, Ruby Princess features spacious staterooms, large-screen poolside theater, Sabatini’s Italian trattoria, the Crown Grill steak and seafood house and a lively piazza-style atrium — all of which make for a fun Caribbean getaway.
In the Great Land, Princess adds capacity on Alaska Inside Passage routes in 2008. Star and Golden Princess will sail from Seattle; Dawn Princess will cruise from San Francisco. For those who prefer smaller ships, the 710-passenger Tahitian Princess will offer a series of 14-day Connoisseur voyages roundtrip from Vancouver. The itinerary features eight ports
of call, four days at sea, one day at Glacier Bay National Park and an overnight in Vancouver.
Before and after its Alaska season, Tahitian Princess sails the postcard-perfect waters of French Polynesia, where in 2008 she adds a new 10-day roundtrip sailing from Papeete.
