Cruise "Italian Style" with Costa Cruise Lines, Europe's most innovative cruise line with worldwide itineraries and a distinct Italian personality. Guests are catered to by multi-fluent stewards onboard the largest, most modern cruise fleet in Europe, a fully-owned subsidiary of Carnival Corp. Innovative and festive, Costa Cruises celebrate something different each day: there's the Buon Viaggio celebration, its signature Roman Bacchanal Parade and toga party; and Festa Italiana, an Italian street festival at sea. There's also Benvenuto A Bordo, the welcome-aboard celebration which the captain hosts on the first formal night; and Notte Tropical, a tropical deck party with a Mediterranean feel and its alfresco midnight buffet. Costa's activities include Italy's most prized recreational pastimes with games of bocce, dancing the tarantella, and tossing pizza dough.
Travelers can also take Italian language and cooking classes, sit in on an enrichment lecture series, play games, attend their colorful productions and classical concerts, or dance to a variety of musical styles.
