    Airport Convenience
    The convenience of cruising from San Diego begins with the transfer from the airport to the cruise ship terminal. The terminal is less than a 10-minute drive from the San Diego International Airport, so travelers do not have to deal with long commutes on busy freeways just to start their vacation.

    Directions
    Driving South on Interstate 5: Take I-5 into downtown San Diego. Exit Sassafras (airport exit). Proceed straight on exit road, which turns into Kettner, until Laurel. Turn right on Laurel and proceed west until Harbor Drive. Make a left on Harbor Drive. The cruise ship terminal is approximately one-half mile on the right.

    Driving North on Interstate 5: Take I-5 into downtown San Diego. Exit Hawthorn (airport exit). Hawthorn steers west toward the San Diego Bay waterfront and Harbor Drive. At Harbor Drive, make a left. The cruise ship terminal is approximately one-half mile on the right.

    Cruise Lines that will visit San Diego through 2006 and 2007 include Holland America, Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruise Line, Radisson Seven Seas, Royal Caribbean, Crystal Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises and Silversea.

    From the East Bay: Take Interstate 80 West across the Bay Bridge, Take the Harrison Embarcadero Exit (on left side), turn right at Harrison St. (end of off-ramp), follow Harrison to Embarcadero, turn left onto Embarcadero, go straight and look for signs for the Pier, approximately 2 miles.

    The Seaport Street Terminal is located in an area referred to as the Garrison Seaport Center and is adjacent to the Florida Aquarium.
